A mouse trap with a good attractant, as this one, is an advantage to speed up the process. No mess, no fuzz--a light squeeze on the bottle is all you need. No messy peanut butter or cheese. Clean, economical and safe (non-toxic). (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

This gel is a lot easier to apply to the trap than peanut butter or cheese. Just squeeze a bit on and it's ready to be set. It's not the prime time of year for mouse infestation yet, so I can't say how well it works yet. (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

Just squeeze out an amount the size of a pencil eraser in the bate cup. The bait makes the rodent think hes getting a 7 course dinner. They like the smell, flavor and texture, but it is their last meal. Easy to use, effective, and not messy. (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

So got this and used it with one of the tom Cat mouse traps. Did a comparison one trap had peanut butter and one had this gel. Well both worked, but gel trap caught mouse first. The smell wasn't bad to me (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

I used tomcat mouse attractant gel in the tomcat Live Catch trap and it worked like a charm! I've had a mouse feasting on the remnants left behind after using my grill on my pack porch, I used just a dab of the attractant gel on the trap and set it next to the grill and forgot about it... the next morning my dog alerted me to something going on. I had caught the mouse IN ONE DAY!!!

reloaded and waiting to see if I catch more! (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

No more taking dead mice out of traps. This live catch trap is easy to use and I can release the live mouse far away from my home. I liked using the Tom Cat gel in this easy to use trap. At first I put the trap near my homes foundation outside in the rocks but when I would check it the next day it had not worked properly, getting stuck on the rocks. When put on a smooth surface it is very effective. (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

Tomcat Mouse Attractant Gel attracts the mice to my traps. Works great. Since using this attractant the mice are dwindling in numbers. What a great product to use with mouse traps to rid the area of mice. (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

I have not used this yet as I don't at the moment have a problem with mice or rats. they seem to come in when the weather gets cold so I will be using it later this year but it sounds like a great idea to use this instead of cheese or peanut butter. I am now prepared for later when the weather gets cooler. (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

We used this attractant gel along with the snap trap to catch a mouse that was repeatedly building a nest in the base of our gas grill. Well, that mouse won't be building another nest! (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

We have used Tomcat® Mouse Attractant Gel several times. I don't know what is in this stuff but it really does attract the mice to our outdoor stations. The best part is that unlike peanut butter it doesn't attract dogs. We live 4 miles outside of town & although we have houses all around us there is a cornfield across the road so mice have always been an issue. With the help of Tomcat products such as this & the bait for our outdoor stations we never see mice any more. Yay! (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

We only have the occasional seasonal mouse. The gel works just as well as PB and a lot easier to apply. Sometimes with PB the little buggers can eat it off and not activate the trap. With the gel you can put a little under the trigger to make sure they really have to get into it...then SNAP! (Reviewer received free product) (Posted over a month ago)

I have used every "normal" type of mouse bait, cheese, peanut butter, ect., and have had very little success. So I started searching for a mouse bait that would work better. I shortly found Tomcat Mouse Attractant Gel at a local store and tried it. The results were and ARE simply amazing!! This bait has worked EVERY time and has NEVER needed replaced on the traps. I have told everyone about this product and sent links to it's purchase repeatedly.

Thank you for releasing this AMAZING mouse bait!! (Posted over a month ago)

I don't know. My daughter had a rat, I believe, under her hot tub but she did nothing about it for about a year. I previously used an old Victor rat trap under her deck that had peanut butter on a cotton ball. I caught two mice with it and the rat ate half of one of them. Twice he tripped the trap but I was unable to catch him. Then my daughter called me because she heard gnawing on the side of her house at night. The next day I bought your kit with the green poison cubes, box with viewable window and gel instead of the D-CON stuff. I placed the baited box under the far corner of her deck. Then, I threw five [5] cubes in different areas under the deck. I also put one under her hot tub and one in her garden where I saw a hole made. I then took two brand new Victor rat traps, applied your gel attractant and placed them in the opposite corner of the deck near the house and set them. That night my daughter said she heard some gnawing again. However, the next day I checked the box trap and noticed through the window that there was some gnawing on the bait cubes. This was a week ago. Since then, she said she has heard nothing and the bait box is the same. If the rat ate the bait and died, good. I have not caught anything in the brand new Victor rat traps with your gel on the pan. So, I can assume that the green colored bait cubes did the job since I have seen no change so far. However, I wondered, does the gel work in COLD weather too like up here in Amherst, NY where the temperature is 15 degrees? Or is the gel only effective in warm weather where it would smell more? What do your tests show? I, myself, believe that the bait cube is the way to go because animals are ALWAYS hungry and looking for food. Does your bait cube also embalm the critter too? If I can't crawl under the deck to find the dead critter, I hope he doesn't smell this spring! Anyway, thankyou for listening! Respectfully, Woody (Posted over a month ago)

I bought 12 Tomcat traps two nights ago and placed this gel in all. I've not caught anything, but the mice love the package it came in. Yes, the cardboard package. ... The package was in the trash can and around 3 a.m. I heard something scuffling on the kitchen floor. I got up to look and found the cardboard package had been dragged out of the trash and halfway to my kitchen door. I don't have pets, so apparently enough of the smell lingered on the package and the mice wanted it. Odd though, because I still haven't caught any of the buggers! They should not be accustomed to traps because I've never had a mice problem till now, so I don't know what to do. I'm a germophobe at wits' end! Can't recommend this product till I actually catch some mice, but they do seem to be attracted to the smell. (Posted over a month ago)

We were using peanut butter and the little rascal would lick the trap clean and move on to the next. UGH. We bought new Tomcat traps and this Mouse Gel bait and we got two of them in less than 4 hours. I hope that is all we have. We feel so much relief. Thanks for this great product. Will be taking it up north as our cabin has rodent issues too. (Posted over a month ago)

I have an old farm house and keep traps set at all times because we constantly have new mice coming in. I like the gel attractant because it doesn't mold if no mouse finds the trap for several weeks and because I can often empty a dead mouse from the trap, reset it without adding new bait and still catch another mouse. As it ages it can get a little thicker and harder to apply but otherwise the squeeze bottle application is super neat and easy. (Posted over a month ago)

It worked for us! We just put a small dollop in the live catch trap and the mouse got caught the next day. We released it far away from our house and other houses. My question is: is the attractant poisonous to the mouse? I noticed it ate part of it... (Posted over a month ago)

I wanted to try this because I thought it would be easier to put on the traps than peanut butter. It just sits there. I know I have mice, and I catch them with peanut butter, but with this product there is no results. I thought it was a bit expensive for the small amount. (Posted over a month ago)
